Uniform, league fee, and club fee — list the stack once

Rec club sticker shock is usually a communication failure. Parents thought "club fee" meant everything. Then league fees, uniforms, and a photo-day add-on appear in three separate emails. List the fee stack **once** on the public Register page so every family hears the same number.

Fee transparency parents can trust

Publish a simple stack:

- Club / program fee (what it covers) - League or association fee (if separate) - Uniform or kit cost (what is included, what is optional) - Optional add-ons (photo day, clinics, tournaments) - Deposit vs balance timing - Sibling rules if you have them

Use plain dollars. If a number is "approx / set by league later," say that honestly instead of hiding it. Surprise assessments mid-season destroy trust faster than a clear high total.

Mid-season assessments — say the rule

If the league might bill a mid-season fee, publish the possibility and how you will notify families. Silence feels like a bait-and-switch even when the association is the source. Your site should be the place parents re-check the stack, not a rumor mill in the stands.

One page beats five PDFs

A fee PDF that only lives in last year's email thread does not help new families. Put the stack next to Register. Update it when league numbers firm up. When a package sells out, mark it full without deleting the fee explanation parents still need for next season planning.

Board and treasurer alignment

Get the treasurer and registrar to agree on the published stack before flyer day. Conflicting verbal quotes from two board members is how Facebook comment wars start. The site becomes the single source. Print the same stack on the flyer as a short summary that points to the full URL.

CCCM working site

- $149 first month, then $99/month, three-month minimum - We publish and update the fee stack you approve - Families pay **you** — CCCM never holds club money - Checkout: https://www.getcccm.com/checkout - Clubs: https://www.getcccm.com/sports

Staff tracking of who paid which line item is ops. Academy OS is talk-first: https://www.getcccm.com/academy-os — no public OS price.

Invented sample (not a client)

"Riverbend FC Rec (invented) shows Club $X + League $Y + Kit $Z on one Register card for each age group, with a note that league fees finalize after association invoice." Invented — not a live club.

What "included" means

Spell out whether the club fee includes referee bits, field permits, or insurance pass-throughs. Parents compare clubs on total cost. Vague "program fee" invites the next surprise email.

Scholarship or hardship — separate from the stack

If you offer fee assistance, add a short inquiry path. Do not invent award stories. Keep the public stack honest for full-pay families while offering a private conversation route.
