Coach bios and certifications parents look for before they trust you

Before a careful parent pays a deposit, they look for named adults — not only a logo. Coach bios and certifications on the public site build trust faster than another highlight reel. You should not need to teach every coach a website editor to keep those pages honest.

What parents scan for

- Name and role (head coach, skills trainer, age-group lead) - Relevant playing or coaching background in plain English - Certifications you actually hold (and will renew) - Who coaches which age band or team when you can say - How to Register — bios without a CTA still leak interest - Photo that looks current (not a 2017 tournament crop)

Skip novels. A short bio beats an empty "Staff TBD" forever.

Stale bios destroy trust

Last year's coach still listed after they left is a common own-goal. A done-for-you rented site means you send updates; we change the page. That is the point of not handing parents a DIY builder and hoping a volunteer remembers.

CCCM working site

- $149 first month, then $99/month, three-month minimum - We maintain bios when you send changes - Money to your academy — CCCM never holds it - Checkout: https://www.getcccm.com/checkout - Club volunteer-coach pages: https://www.getcccm.com/sports

Permissions for which staff can edit rosters internally is Academy OS territory: https://www.getcccm.com/academy-os — talk-first, no public OS price.

Invented sample (not a client)

"Parkside Performance Academy (invented) lists four coaches with certs, age groups, and a Register link under each sport section — updated when a trainer leaves mid-season." Invented — not a live academy.

Certifications without wallpaper

Only list credentials that are real and current. A wall of expired badges helps less than three accurate ones. If background checks are part of your hiring standard, you can say the policy at a high level without posting private documents.

Multi-sport campuses

Each sport page should name the people parents will meet. A campus-wide staff directory is fine; bury it under logos and you waste the trust signal.

Volunteer vs paid coaches

Rec clubs and hybrids often mix both. Label roles honestly. Parents deserve to know if U8 is volunteer-led and U14 is staffed differently — not as a slight, as clarity.

Photos and releases

Use coach photos you have rights to use. Athlete photos in coach collages need the same release discipline you use elsewhere. When in doubt, coach headshots only.

Bios should sit near packages and Register — trust content that still converts, not a dead-end About page from 2018.

Assistant coaches and rotating trainers

If Friday skills are run by rotating staff, say "skills staff rotates — lead trainer listed weekly" or name the program lead who is accountable. Fake permanence helps nobody when a different adult shows up.

Plain next step

If a working public Register site is what you need, start at https://www.getcccm.com/checkout or email hello@getcccm.com with your school or club name, city, and what you run. If you need staff-desk ops instead, use https://www.getcccm.com/academy-os and expect a conversation — not a self-serve price button.
