Learning pod and microschool tuition clarity on one page

Pods fail in public for a simple reason: the money talk lives in a group text. Seats, deposits, and sibling rules should live on one page a parent can read without asking the host three times.

Put these facts on a single page

- How many seats exist this term - Ages or grade band - Days and hours (pod, hybrid, or full week) - Tuition per child, per term or per month — whatever you actually charge - What the number includes (instruction, materials, field trips) - What it does not include (lunch, aftercare, sports) - Deposit amount, what it holds, refund rules - Sibling or second-child rule in one paragraph - What happens if the pod does not fill - How families pay **you** - A form to request a seat or join a waitlist

If sibling pricing is case-by-case, say that — and still collect one household inquiry.

Why texts create fights

A text thread remembers the exception, not the rule. One family got a discount in August. Another family hears about it in October. The page is the shared rule. Exceptions stay private and rare.

Do not advertise a sibling discount you no longer honor.

Seats are the product

A pod of eight is not a district. When you are full, you are full. Publish the number. Switch to waitlist. Do not take a ninth deposit because a text felt awkward.

Host-home and location honesty

If you meet in a home, say so (and follow whatever local rules you are under). If you meet in a church room, say which door. Relocating families should not discover the model only after a deposit.

We will not invent licensing. You approve the wording.

Sibling rules that stay kind

Write the pattern: “Second child is X% on tuition; fees are full price,” or “Household quote — use the form.” Larger households should not be stuck.

Blended families and different last names are normal. Give a notes field.

The page is for seats and money clarity. The community lives elsewhere.

Contract match

Whatever the page says must match the written agreement. If the site promises a refund window, the contract cannot erase it in fine print without a clear exception path.
