Parish preschool enrollment that does not rely on the church secretary alone
Parish preschool is often beloved, full, and operationally fragile. The church secretary already covers funerals, hall rentals, and the pastor’s calendar. Handing that person every “is there a spot in the threes?” text is not a registration system.
Give preschool its own Register path: ages, hours, deposit, and forms online.
What the preschool page must say
- Age cutoffs and potty / readiness rules you actually enforce - Days and hours (MWF, Tu/Th, five-day — list real options) - Tuition or monthly family-pay figures you will publish - Registration fee and tuition deposit — what each holds - School-year dates and major breaks - Immunization or health form expectations at a high level - Photo release and emergency contacts on the form - How families pay **the preschool or parish account you name** - Member vs community preference if it exists — stated plainly
Keep sacramental or membership conversations pastoral and separate from the mechanical enroll form when you can.
Secretary load is a justice issue
Burning out the one person who knows everything is how programs shrink. A complete online submission is kindness to staff and clarity for parents. It does not replace a warm tour. It replaces retyping the same answers in January and again in March.
CCCM working site
- $149 first month, then $99/month, three-month minimum - Done-for-you public site for the preschool (or school + preschool packages) - Families pay you — CCCM never holds tuition - Checkout: https://www.getcccm.com/checkout - Parish sports: https://www.getcccm.com/sports
Academy OS remains talk-first if you later need a staff desk: https://www.getcccm.com/academy-os — no public OS price.
Invented sample (not a client)
“St. Helen’s Preschool (invented) lists twos/threes/fours, MWF and Tu/Th options, deposit to the preschool account, and a Register form that emails the preschool director — not the general parish inbox.” Invented — not a live parish.
Shared building notes
Publish which door is preschool drop-off. Funeral traffic and weekday Mass change parking. Parents with toddlers should not discover Door B the hard way on day one.
Waitlists without silence
When a class is full, say so and take waitlist interest with ages and preferred days. Give a simple “how we call the list” rule. Hallway promises create conflict in tight communities.
Returning families
Re-enrollment for next year should open on a published date. Sibling priority rules belong on the page, not only in tribal knowledge.
Tours and open houses
Offer a tour RSVP on the same site as Register. Do not send tour interest into the parish-wide voicemail. Name the preschool director or lead teacher as the human follow-up. Hospitality still matters; the form just starts it with complete facts.
Plain next step
If a working public Register site is what you need, start at https://www.getcccm.com/checkout or email hello@getcccm.com with your school or club name, city, and what you run. If you need staff-desk ops instead, use https://www.getcccm.com/academy-os and expect a conversation — not a self-serve price button.
FAQ
- Can preschool share the church domain?
- Yes, preferably as a clear path or subdomain dedicated to preschool enroll.
- Must parish members get first seats?
- If that is policy, publish it. Silent preference feels political.
- Where does tuition go?
- To the account you publish. CCCM never holds it.
- How fast?
- About one business day after paid checkout and complete details.
- We only have a paper packet in the narthex?
- That packet does not work at 9:40 p.m. on a parent’s phone. Put the same facts online.
