Thoughtful websites.
Ongoing care.

Aftercare and extended-day signup should sit next to enrollment

Parents who need aftercare decide on the same night they decide on the school. If the year enrollment is on one PDF and extended day is “email the coordinator,” you lose working families — or you drown the office in the same question every August.

Put aftercare and extended-day packages on the same public site as enrollment.

What belongs next to Enroll

- Hours (example: 3:00–5:30, days of week) - Who is eligible (your students only, or community too) - Daily vs full-week packages - Price you are willing to publish, or a clear range - Whether the fee is billed with tuition or separately - Snack, pickup rules, late-pickup fee if you have one - How families pay **you** - A form that can add aftercare to a new or returning student

You can still require a conversation for special schedules. The default path should not be a scavenger hunt.

Why a separate “ask us” thread fails

Aftercare is operationally messy: ratios, rooms, staff. That is why offices hide it. Hiding it does not reduce the mess. It just moves the mess into inbox and hallway conversations.

A public package list lets families self-select. Your office reviews the list instead of rewriting the hours fifty times.

Same rental, extra packages

A CCCM working site is a rented public Register site — not a new product for every add-on. Aftercare, early drop-off, Friday enrichment, and summer camp can sit as packages on the same URL.

- $149 first month, then $99/month, three-month minimum - We build and run it - One monthly tweak round (hours and prices change — send them) - Families pay your accounts. CCCM never holds tuition or aftercare fees - Checkout: https://www.getcccm.com/checkout - Clubs and academy-style add-ons: https://www.getcccm.com/sports

Academy OS is for staff-desk ops (who showed up, who is cleared). Talk first: https://www.getcccm.com/academy-os — no public OS price.

Invented sample (not a client)

“Elm Court Academy (invented) lists K–5 enrollment and a 3:15–5:45 extended-day package on one Register page, with Zelle and card to the school.” Invented brand — not a live client URL.

Sibling and staff-child rules

If staff children or siblings get a different aftercare rate, say so in one sentence. If they do not, say that too. Unwritten hallway discounts become fights.

What not to put on the public page

- Which child had a hard pickup last week - Staffing anxiety - Other families’ schedules

Keep the page about hours, cost, and signup. Keep incidents in the office.

Launch order

You do not need a perfect aftercare handbook to list hours and a package. Publish the working path. Add handbook depth in a later tweak round.

Parents forgive a short page. They do not forgive “call us” as the only way to hold an aftercare seat.

Pickup lists and late fees

Publish who may pick up a child and how a late pickup is billed. Hallway exceptions become the unofficial policy. A short public rule plus a notes field on the form is enough. Keep incident write-ups in the office, not on the website.

Returning families

Re-enrollment season is when aftercare questions explode. Put a checkbox or a second package on the same form so returning households finish once.

Plain next step

If a working public Register site is what you need, start at https://www.getcccm.com/checkout or email hello@getcccm.com with your school or club name, city, and what you run. If you need staff-desk ops instead, use https://www.getcccm.com/academy-os and expect a conversation — not a self-serve price button.

FAQ

Community kids in aftercare?
Say who may enroll. Collect the same emergency contacts and pickup list.
Drop-in vs contracted days?
List both if you offer both. Drop-in without a published rate is how arguments start.
Does aftercare money go through CCCM?
No. Families pay you direct.
Can we add summer later?
Yes — seasonal package on the same rental. See the summer-program post in this series when you need that copy.
How fast?
About one business day after paid checkout and complete details.
