Legal vs practical

Have counsel review what you must collect. The site's job is to present those fields once, clearly, on mobile. Do not paste a ten-page PDF and hope. Summarize acknowledgments parents can complete on a phone; attach longer policies as links if needed.

Returning athletes

Re-enrollment should refresh contacts and confirm releases still apply — not assume last year's clipboard is eternal. Same site, returning package, updated form.

Coaches should coach

When clearance lives only in a volunteer binder, every coach becomes a clerk. Publish requirements on the site. Route status questions to the role you name. After signup volume grows, a staff desk helps — that is Academy OS territory, not a reason to delay public Register.
